We stayed for two nights over New Year’s Eve at the Alsik Spa Hotel, and overall we were very impressed with our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. We had booked a Junior Suite with breakfast on the 8th floor, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, stylish, and impeccably maintained, and the view was fantastic – especially over New Year’s Eve, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was excellent, and the overall service, room quality, and hotel atmosphere were outstanding. We would absolutely love to return. The only real downside was the spa area. Even as hotel guests, access to the spa comes at an additional cost, which is quite high. Although hotel guests pay less than external visitors, a 3-hour spa slot costs over €40 per person, which is not insignificant. The spa itself is clean, modern, and very well equipped, so there is nothing to complain about in terms of facilities. However, at this price point, one naturally expects excellent service and hospitality. Unfortunately, this is where our experience fell short. Some of the spa staff appeared unorganized and not particularly friendly, at times even a bit condescending. For example, after our spa visit, we simply asked for a fresh bathrobe to use in our room, as the spa bathrobe was completely soaked. O hotel é maravilhoso. Tem uma infra-estrutura moderna, funcionários prestativos e uma localização privilegiada próxima aos principais pontos turísticos. O quarto com vista para o mar/fiorde realmente vale a pena: a vista é linda, especialmente ao pôr do sol, garantindo um visual romântico ideal para casais. Além disso, o quarto era muito confortável, com todos os itens necessários para garantir máximo conforto - ponto alto: roupão e chinelos, e kit completo de higiene! O café da manhã é super variado e tudo estava perfeitamente delicioso. Recomendo ainda para aqueles que quiserem ter um momento de bem-estar usar a piscina do spa. Hotel Alsik levede fuldt op til forventningerne — og lidt til. Allerede i receptionen blev vi mødt af et personale, der var oprigtigt imødekommende og hjælpsomme uden at være anmassende. Intet var for besværligt, og de havde altid et godt tip til, hvad vi kunne opleve i Sønderborg. Værelset var lyst, moderne og pinligt rent, med en helt fantastisk udsigt over vandet. Sengen var i den kategori, hvor man overvejer at sove længe med vilje. Restauranten fortjener særlig ros. Maden var flot anrettet og velsmagende og betjeningen ved bordet var både professionel og varm. Morgenmaden havde et stort og lækkert udvalg.

Vi havde 3 overnatninger, og er virkelig imponeret over stedet. Der var så pænt og rent overalt, og utroligt smilende og venligt personale som gør alt for, at opholdet bliver perfekt. Morgenmaden var overdådig og der var alt hvad man kan tænke sig. Vi spiste på restaurant Alsik en aften - virkelig lækkert og hyggeligt at sidde udenfor. Vi havde et hjørneværelse med havudsigt på 10. Sal, og da der var 30 grader udenfor var værelset ret varmt om natten, men vi kunne låne en ventilator i receptionen, og det hjalp rigtig meget. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen😊
