My flight was delayed and when I arrived to the hotel at 12:30am I was told I no longer had a room. They overbooked and, despite the fact that I already paid for it, gave away my room. I was told this happens often. It took over an hour for them to find me a room in a different hotel which was 20 minutes away. I was told to return to the Hampton for the 2nd night I booked and they would try to get me a room. My second night was fine and the room was comfortable and clean. They gave me a free dinner to compensate for the inconvenience but it was definitely not worth sitting in the lobby until 2am waiting for a room. The receptionist was very apologetic and helpful but if you want a guaranteed room, I recommend avoiding this hotel.
Ideal hotel close to airport. Rooms comfy, nice & quiet. Great front desk staff, Friendly and helpful. Good dining menu. Highly recommend this hotel.
Overall ok, it’s not the first time I have stayed there, but this time there was a rave in the field next door which was noisy and we had an early morning flight.
Professional friendly staff. Good quality rooms. Cleanliness wonderful. Good variety for breakfast buffet Great location for airport
Easy access to the airport was our reason for staying. Five minute walk to the terminal. Car parking is expensive at £12 for overnight. Reception was efficient, friendly, fast and painless. The room is adequate. Breakfast needs some attention. The food was mediocre, hot food was cool and we had to search for a table that had been both cleared and cleaned. The area is not attended to and there were no staff visible to ask for assistance.
Over four days only had the room serviced once. Breakfast was fine, any other meals you would be better going out to eat. It was the most expensive of our travel of the uk over three weeks so far from good value for the money.
Charged extra for no reason. But rang up and was sorted by hotel quickly. Awaiting refund. Hopefully this will come through. Abit crafty of them taking car details at start though.
Lovely modern hotel as close as you could get to the hospital. Nice bright lobby and friendly staff, also good choice of breakfast. I did find a toenail on the carpet beside the bed however which was a bit off putting but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that this was a once off.
Spectacular value for money. Easy to get to the city by train Breakfast was ample, rooms was great and even has a gym for a very affordable price. My new go to hotel in Edinburgh
