The hotel is very affordable and family friendly. I had some issues with the breakfast tickets but it was resolved in a timely manner. There is also a bar and a restaurant that is very affordable. The only thing that I did not like is that there was no towels specifically for the pool and I was given somewhat an issue when requesting towels for the pool with the front desk clerk. Overal, this is a nice place for a mini vacation with the family. I stayed for almost one week. I wished that the laundry was free of charged; I paid about $1 per item.

The hotel is in a great location and is family friendly. The Hamacas is located about 15 minutes from the mall and Walmart. The Restaurant and bar is very affordable. I had an issue with the breakfast ticket however, the issue was was solved in a timely manner. The place is very clean and some of the front desk staff are corteous and willing to assist the best they can; some are too serious. The cleaning ladies are very polite; we felt comfortable keeping money and other valuable items unsupervised. According to my husband, the owner is a very nice humble gentleman. I wished the laundry was free of charge; I paid about $ 1 per item. I wouldn’t mind returning to the same place in the near future. Please, visit the Hamacas because is a nice place.

The location was great. They had a free shuttle that took us to the ferry. The shuttle driver was very helpful with our luggage. The staff at the hotel was ok. We had reserved two rooms, but they only had one down for us. We had our email reservation so we were able to get the other room taken care of without any problems. The room was fine and clean. The part that was frustrating was we paid for 4 people to stay in each room(we reserved 2 rooms so a total of 8 people), but they would only give us 2 towels per room. We could pay extra for additional towels, which I could understand if we were given a towel for each person to begin with. Also, it said it came with breakfast. Again, they only gave us 2 meal tickets per room even though we paid for 4 people per room. The pool could have been cleaner. They do not provide any towels for the pool. Over all it was a good hotel.

This was a great stop over on our travels home from Utila. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and nice pool to chill by.

I booked here because I had an early morning ferry to catch and this was the closest hotel. The good points: Free shuttle to the ferry, pre book it when you check in. Breakfast was included which is nice because there is nothing close by. Not so good points: Check in was slow and the staff seemed confused. They kept on saying I needed to pay but I pre-paid and it took alot of convincing that I did. The room is basic, just a fan so if it is warm outside you will be hot. No elevator, which is fine for me but for others be prepared. There is nothing around so eating either means at the hotel or taking a taxi into Le Ceiba. If you arrive late at night then you should eat before going to the airport. Overall I survived fine but the staff needs to be trained more in hospitality, especially the front desk.
