The hospitality was top notch! The property was clean, quiet and beautiful! Olivia, the front desk attendant was very friendly and hospitable! Sam, the waitress, was amazingly nice and hospitable as well 🙂 I don’t have anything negative to say. Please try The Inn at Crestwood and you’ll be surprised!

Excellent place for a quiet get away. The property was well taking care. The Spa or pool was not open but the facilities were nice. There was a lot of noise one night but after that everything was great.

Great laid back retreat

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Hotel is out in secluded area and has great views of the mountains. Location is along Blue Ridge Parkway which was really nice.

We had a good time

10/10 Exceptional

Great mountain retreat.

Great place for a nice mountain retreat! Cozy hotel and great indoor and outdoor views. The indoor pool was out of service, which was a downer since we wanted to enjoy it in the middle of the winter. Great restaurant and bar. Close to ski resort areas. Highly recommended.

8/10 Very good

Staff was very welcoming & helpful! Spacious room w/ gas log fireplace and nice sitting porch. Excellent layout for family wedding we were attending. Limited daily dining, including only continental breakfast and dinner (Thur-Sat).
Lawrence, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The cottages had good amount of space available and nice porch out back. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen had enough things for a short stay. The only item we would have like to have seen more of was breakfast options.
Kevin, 1-night trip

Gorgeous property, great views from our 2nd floor room. the room itself was clean but there was no microwave or refrigerator and walls were thin

Weekend trip

The overall stay was wonderful. Staff super nice and helpful. Two compliants: the bathroom fan did not work and the bathroom smelled like meldew ehich made tge room have a funky smell as well. I could hear what sounded like people moving furniture and running in the above me.

6/10 Good

Good potential but needs some improvement

Staff was excellent; friendly and helpful. Facilities were “tired” and in need of renovation and better lighting in the room. Dinner food was great but breakfast was Mitel 6 quality. A mixed experience.

4/10 Fair

The beds are hard, just a little bit better than the floor. I contemplated sleeping in my truck. The Keurig was dirty inside the water reservoir, I didn't use it. The walls were bare except for blueprints of the building over the beds. The room and building smelled musty. The family I was visiting remarked I smelled the same after checking in and dropping off my luggage in the room.

6/10 Good

Almost a 5/5! Beautiful venue.

The venue is beautiful. However i don’t believe they manage their guest rooms well. You should put smaller parties on higher floors and larger parties on lower floors. It was very clear we were staying (my husband and i, with a chihuahua) underneath a family (clearly at least mom/dad/child) with a larger dog. The building isn’t new so there’s not exactly much sound proofing through the floors. So the moment anyone above moved you could hear it. Which meant us waking up every morning when our upstairs neighbors woke up, which was constant. It also meant no going to sleep until they did, which was late. And even when they left the dog did not, so we had to hear him running around constantly as well. Overall it’s a beautiful stay, and the moments of silence we were blessed with were amazing.
Terry, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Things could of been better.

I will say my rating would be lower if it wasn't for the front desk clerks. I feel like housekeeping and facilities need to to take some more time out and ensure the rooms are ready for guests. I've had to see accumulation of dust spots in ceiling trim, to punctures in wall, to floor panels not being level. The destination fee that is charged to use the spa(never saw), the pool which looked like needs renovation and a fitness center that's on life support(worst I've ever seen) just either needs to be removed. I had to drive 30min to another facility in order to get access to a clean pool and some kind of fitness center. The Breakfast could of been a lot better, just feels like owner is doing bare minimum to accommodate their customer base. I will not return.

Nice bathrooms and shower. Bed good. Some things could be updated. Overall would consider again as long as price didn’t go up.

The staff was super friendly and this was definitely a hidden gem. Wasn’t expecting much, but was blown away by the place

Cozy stay

I went with my husband for a friends wedding. The hotel was very cozy, felt like a bed and breakfast.

Christian, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stayed here back in 2013 and was very excited to be in the area and able to stay here again. They’ve made some renovations since and it’s definitely updated, and a more boutique hotel vibe. So grateful they kept the library the same. That’s where they served breakfast which was simple but delicious, we got to enjoy it next to the fire place since it was chilly the morning we stayed. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and hospitable, they definitely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The grounds are quiet and there’s a pretty mountain road you drive up to reach the Inn. Close to downtown Blowing Rock, Boone and the south entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can’t wait to come back up in the fall!

Amazing staff, great location, and a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here. I traveled alone for a short while, and this place was my favorite without a doubt. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the bar was also really nice. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.
