My new go to place in Big Bear
This will be my future go to spot when visiting Big Bear. The room was spacious, modern and clean with all of the amenities. It was very homey. The only negatives was having to pay for Wi-Fi and there was no soap for bathing.

Nice stay over Lavor Dat weekend. Stayed in second floor and like others said it was pretty warm during the day but cooled off well in evening with all the windows open. Nice clubhouse that my kids liked for the games and lots of options for pool and hot tubs. Our unit faced one of the hot tubs don’t was a bit loud hearing the conversations coming from that area in the evening. Glad they shut down at 10 pm so we could get some sleep. Could walk to grocery shopping as a bonus. We also brought bikes and liked that we could easily get in the Aloine Pedal Path from the property.

Condo not ready
We got there after 4pm with check in time at 4pm. The condo was not ready until about 5:30 and we just had to wait and we were not even offered water on a hot day. There is no air conditioning anywhere on the site. Check out time was still 10am, in spite of late check in. The wood portion of the floors in the condo were filthy and turned the bottom of my feet black. The dirt was not visible to the eye.

This is a well kept property. There are cemented paths that lead to the pool, club house, various jacuzzis, and other sports equipment & courts. It's located just about 1/2 mile from Big Bear Blvd which is the major street throughout Big Bear. You can find any kind of business off of Big Bear Blvd. The unit was spacious, modern and comfortable. There is no central air conditioning so in hot weather you must use fans or open the windows at night for coolness. There is central heating for wintertime. Plenty of parking for each building. Each unit has a patio or balcony that is private with a barbeque and table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. I wish pets were allowed but they're not.

Great early fall or late spring resort.
The resort is clean and well maintained. It is a great family friendly place. We had stayed at this resort 20 years ago, so I was quite surprised by the lack of air conditioning. Also, our room was smaller than I remember the rooms we stayed in so long ago. Big bear is cool probably 9 months out of the year, but if you go in the summer, it can be quite hot. One of the 3 days we were there, it was 69 degrees in Big Bear, but it was 77 degrees in our room. Fans don't cut it. I wanted to stay another day in Big Bear, but with the weather heating up outside, I could not have tolerated the heat in the room. I'd recommend WorldMark Big Bear for visiting in the early fall or late spring when it is cooler rather than sweating it out in the summer months inside your room. Also, even though the nights cooled way down outside, as soon as the windows were closed, it was hot again inside the room.

Condo was clean, well equipped. Property facilities were more than expected. We were there at a less busy time and was exceptionally quiet. Property is away from "downtown" area but was walkable to grocery shopping and basic needs.
