Room was clean and spacious. Only complaint was noise from adjacent bathroom extractor which continued for 15 minutes at a time whenever turned on.

Nice hotel, with lovely sea view rooms. Friendly staff, and great breakfast. Didn't use the car park as was able to park roadside outside. Only down side was that the shower did not drain very well. Reported to receptionist on leaving so that they could get it sorted.

It was a pleasing stay with what I needed in the room even if only an (older) shower rather than a bath. It’d be a shame if it were destroyed for a taller apart hotel block seen on a notice opposite the current hotel. Although I didn’t opt for breakfast - needed to save money - the bacon smelt amazing in the morning!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was clean and a good size. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. To create the double they had put together two singles but top and bottom rather than side by side… Unfortunately the chef was sick so I had to eat elsewhere. For the cost I would stay again

Strathmore.

Very friendly staff. Took our dog who was welcomed by all. Out of town a little bit , but that made it quiet. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again, thank you.

The people in the above floor were very noisy & the main road is very busy. Staff were friendly , breakfast good & location good!

Business trip.

The hotel is in need of some modernising ie carpets redecorating but it is comfortable and the staff were great. Parking is limited but there is plenty of space on the promenade directly opposite which is free.

Great value weekend break in Morecambe

The hotel is dated. Stains on carpets. Bathroom was clean but needs updated. No replenishment of tea/coffee during stay. Very loud all night from fans underneath window, even with windows closed. Got very little sleep. Staff friendly and check in quick.

Room was nice overlooking the seafront, and a reasonable size. When we arrived there was no one on reception, we had to wait a while for someone to appear. There were big signs saying to only touch the fire alarm in an emergency, and the alarm went off in the middle of the night, they clearly have an issue with the alarm. When we went to breakfast there were 2 girls sat on the table, and we were told “to sit where we want, let them know if we wanted a drink, and the food is through there”. None of the food was hot, and the “scrambled egg” was clearly out of a packet - it was mostly water. When we left again there was no one on reception. Overall disappointing!

Very basic hotel, ok for a stop over but wouldn’t book for a holiday. Told no food as chef had walked out. I wouldn’t stay again. Clean sheets, comfortable bed and warm.
