The stay left so much to be desired upon arrival to our room the carpet was dirty and a sock from previous guest left on floor. Bin in bathroom full with rotten tissue and rubbish. Went to use the kettle and it had what looked like either food or vomit dried on the inside of it. Went for evening meal on the first night seated promptly and given started then sat and watched the rest of the guests have there starter plates cleared and served there mains upon asking one member of staff where our mains were we were told she was going to find out to then come back and say the chef is trying to get them done, strange that other guests who arrived later were served there mains same choice as us but got there’s straight away we waited a further 10 minutes watching others been served to ask another member of staff where our mains were she went and came back and said she doesn’t know when we will get our food as it’s busy, whether this was personal preference to other guests or because we were seated at the back it was not on as we had a child who had not been fed whilst everyone else had been served. We ended up leaving as the service was shocking

Booked last minute, Called up to check all was ok with the pool as stayed at other places and pool was closed so had a very disapointed little girl. Arrived and found out pool was closed. Only reason we booked this hotel. Also neber stayed at the hotel before so though we woudl be told where everything was and was literally given the key and told the room was just up the stairs. Went to the toilet in the missle of the night and toilet paper ran out luckily had my own but very inconvenient.

Lovely little hotel.

Lovely little hotel very pleasantly surprised for the price we paid. Buffet breakfast plenty of everything you would want. Even a pool extra charge but well worth it. Very enjoyable stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A SCAM

I booked and paid on hotels.com. I arrived and the guy said i had to pay again. It was late and he was on his own and said he was new and the system said i still had to pay despite me already paying. As it was nearly 12 at night i didn’t know what to do. He said if i just pay now and bring it up with them tomorrow i’d be able to get a refund. When i explained it to them the next day the manager wasnt there and theysaid he would call me. He called me later that day saying he was going to issue me a refund that could take up to 5 days. On the 25th i checked (15 days after my stay) no refund had appeared. I called up and explained. I got put on hold for over an hour and i had stuff to do so i had to call back at a later time. I called back over 10 times, no answer, i called back the next day over 10 times at different times no answer and the same thing the next day. As i have no refund receipt i cannot get the bank to do anything. They are ignoring multiple calls and emails. Its a scam, even the photos apart from the outside look nothing like the room. They are dirty and dated.

Firstly i have mobility issues and we were put on 3rd floor ( the lady swaped us to 1st floor) the room was run down and dirty, no curtains and blinds missing bits so not dark all night then to top it off electricity went off at 4pm.....so we had no electricity at all even when we checked out (it got to 9pm and the staff still hadnt informed us when it would be back on until my mother in law asked! Which is very poor To top it off went for breakfast (morning of check out) and sat at table started to eat and everything was freezing cold.....its totally put me off. And wifi was terrible had no access to bank or anything as there was no signal

Average hotel

Room is dated whole place needs revamp. Attention to detail would in improve this hotel .Blinds in our room (107) Was different sizes and colours. Toilet seat loose no cold water in the toilet. Dressing table worn and jaded .

Blackpool stay

Hotel looks like it’s being updated. Our room was small but had a great view. There was no wardrobe or hanging facilities for clothes. So they just stayed in the case. No bedside cabinets and only 1double socket for kettle etc. so no good for trying to charge multiple devices. But bed was clean & comfortable, plenty of tea & coffee etc and additional milk was given at reception when asked. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Clean room. No water for a shower

Clean room, lots of room. Nice to have sea front. Tea, coffee facilities good. Unfortunately, noticed following morning, shower had no water and wife said her bed was slanted

Dirty Bathroom!!!

The only benefit for this hotel is its Location. The rooms are dated. Stairs to the rooms feel like they are going to collaspe below you. Shower/ Bathroom was discusting. Really disapointed with the room. When arriving was told there was no parking. ( which we understood was first come first served) we then went and parked our car a mile away from the hotel paid for parking for the duration. On our return was told that parking would be available the following day. Overall we didnt let the state of the hotel ruin our break as the location was ideal but we wouldnt stay here again

Rooms unfortunately too hot.

Great hotel for price, only issue we had was the heat in the place but it did not ruin our trip. If you are only using to rest your head, I would defo recommend but if looking to stay in room for a lot of your trip maybe look at different hotel.

Updating required

In desperate need of an update. The whole place is so outdated, furniture has seen better days. The lift wasn't working and we found out later that it hadn't worked for a long time. Not ideal carrying things up stairs especially with the amount of things an 8.5 month old has. The room was missing blinds from the windows, furniture was peeling and chipped and one window was broken and let cold air in. On a positive note the place was relatively clean including the bathroom. And the bed was extremely comfortable. It's such a shame because a little bit of paint, some maintenance it would look a little better. It was a very cheap rate which is just as well because it's wasn't worth more than what we paid. Hotel was right in front of the waterfront and not too far a walk from eateries. Parking is available for £6. Staff were friendly but for what ever reason the restaurant was not open.

Disappointed

Booked for myself and 2 young grandchildren booked the swimming pool for 6pm earliest we could get went downstairs with 2 excited children only to be told after waiting in room for 1 and half hours that it had been closed nobody bothered to tell us booked the hotel on the basis that I could take my grandchildren swimming !! tv not working in room no connection no internet working ! Asked for compensation but heard nothing very disappointed

In need of refurb painting repairs, etc .carpets needed good hoovering . Pool was great as could hire for just us but needed some repair. Bedding and towels were white and very clean .

Overall stay was nice

It was a nice 2 star hotel. Unfortunately there was a few issues toilet seat was broken, mattress spring damaged mould in the bathroom, curtains damaged. Only one small window which isnt enough for air circulation. We went swimming the first day on the second day the pool was out of order. Judging by the reviews the lift has been out of order for a while now. Staff were extremely friendly
