Just 5 minutes away in Aufkirchen, the grand Church of St. John the Baptist dates back to the early 18th century. Home turf of the local baseball team, the Schwaig Red Lions Ballpark and its adjoining amenities cater to a variety of sports. Chances are you’ll be using Oberding as a convenient stopover before or after a flight. Set just over 28 kilometres from Munich, you can travel between the airport and the city via the S-Bahn railway service, on lines S1 and S8. A journey to Marienplatz station in the city centre takes around 45 minutes.
