The sleepy, picturesque town of Moreton-In-Marsh is located at the north-eastern edge of Gloucestershire, and surrounded by patchwork green, and pale orange farmlands. This peaceful slice of the Cotswolds is home to a 16th century tower that watches vigilantly over the high street, where you'll find popular market stalls selling a variety of fresh, crunchy vegetables and other farmers' produce. Nestled in well looked after public gardens, you can stop for a relaxing cup of tea and sticky cake before wandering the lush, tree studded grounds. Another major attraction here is the Cotswold Falconry Centre, which is sure to be a hit with the kids. As well as daily falcon flights, there's eagles, owls, and more to be found here.

Despite its rural location, Morton-In-Marsh is easier to reach than you might think. From London, there's a few options depending on where you land. From Gatwick, you can simply catch the train to Reading, and change for a connecting service to Moreton-In-Marsh. Alternatively, if landing at London Heathrow, hop on a Heathrow Express coach to London Paddington, where you'll find regular train services to Moreton-In-Marsh. Birmingham Airport is also less than an hour's drive away, which can be perfect if you're planning on hiring a car. Getting around Moreton-In-Marsh itself is easy on foot, thanks to its small size.
