The Sefton
10/10 Excellent
"This was our third year at the Sefton staying in one of their Atrium rooms with balcony. It’s relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to the waterfall and because it’s under cover, doesn’t matter if it’s raining, lovely at nighttime all lit up. Fridge and safe are so useful to have. It’s a great hotel, reception and housekeeping staff are all so helpful and create a warm friendly atmosphere. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else now."
"I try to visit the IOM two or three times a year, and have stayed at a variety of hotels, B&B's over the last decade or so, but The Penta is without doubt my favourite. The location is great, the room was perfect and the price was fantastic. I'll certainly be staying there on my next visit to the island. Highly recommended.."
"Great hotel right on the Promenade with fabulous sea views.
The hotel has clearly seen better days, some of the furniture is quite worn but still perfectly serviceable.
I’m sure some would complain that it looks tired but if you don’t mind that, for the price it is great. There’s a swimming pool and sauna, free parking, three good restaurants and it’s in a great position."
"I had another comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Welbeck Hotel. I received a warm welcome on arrival and allocated a very good room with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. My breakfast was nicely cooked and set me up for the day. The Welbeck is in a good location and was convenient for me when arriving by ferry in an evening from Liverpool. Many thanks to the staff for another enjoyable stay."
