"room dirty on arrival."

I arrived to the hotel after a long flight and was delighted with the room.it was huge andnicely decorated.limited sea view.the room however defenitely need some touch ups as it didn't seem to be finished. The bathroom was filthy however, with toilet not having being cleaned and hairs all over the bathroom.the bath tub was dirty.I went to the reception desk and told then and expected to be changed to another room on the same level as it was past midnight when I arrived.the receptionists however asked me to go back to the room and that they would send a. leaner.he arrived at 12.15 and I had to sit in the room waiting, exhausted and embarrassed, while he cleaned the bathroom.it wasn't the best of experiences and I felt it was unprofessional.I told the reception staff about this the following morning but they didnt have the best English and couldn't understand.the pool was lovely and the breakfast was amazing in the top floor with a wonderful view.there us still some construction work going on and there is an occasional sewage smell, but it will be a nice hotel when finished.
"Great hotel, but not very good location"

Hotel is very nice and beautiful. Surrounded by nature. Has three pools. I think all rooms are directed to sea. Very good breakfast.
Rooms have nice balconies, are clean and in good shape. But one thing I didn't like - wall between room and bathroom has window, which closes with some kind of wooden jalousies. So in a room you can hear and smell everything what comes from bathroom. This is stupid.
Location - kind of far from bigger cities. But shuttle to near beach is every hour and to far big city three times per day. There's a big problem with taxis in Phuket. They are mafia. So be carefull.

Novotel is a stunning hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect, not to close to the busy'ness but yet close enough to enjoy. The decor and ambiance is vivacious and the hotel setting is gorgeous.
An absolute must when staying in Phuket, Patong Beach.
"Great hotel for the Patong experience"

Stayed 6 nights in the Durangjitt on our first trip to Phuket. The hotel has an excellent location which is around 5 minutes walk from the main street. Far enough away to be removed from the intensity of Patong but not so far that you cant quickly stroll into the action.
The hotel was as expected for a 4 star hotel. Services and ammenities were good although we tended to only use the hotel as a base and didn't hang around too much. We had a walk around and the pools/bars looked fine.
My only negative comment was that the beds were very uncomfortable. Our first night was spent in a twin single setup and then onto a double/queen setup for the remainder. Both beds were below average as were the pillows.
Aside from this, thoroughly recommended.
"Banthai - Close to every thing"

The hotel location is very close to all the activities,
5 minutes walk to the beach, 3 minutes to the coffee shops and very close to the market and Bangala street.
The room very nice.
I have noted that even with the fact that the hotel is very close to the active beach although when you go to the room you will find it so quiet and you can sleep easily.
My wife and I liked this hotel so much.
"Nice hotel in Pa-tong"

Very nice hotel. Pool is good. The breakfast is very good with a lot of option specially for a Muslim . Breakfast area is very calming and nice in front of beach and next to pool. Very easy to go to batong. You can even go walking. They had delayed our check-in for a round 1.3 hours but they had offered us a complement cocktail. The beach is very bad and not possible to swim and not sure why they are not doing anything regarding that. Be ready for a lot of walking within the hotel as you have to walk and use stairs to go to lobby, breakfast area. There is one relaxing place at the end of the hotel that extending into the sea. You need to go for quite long walk next to the beach and within forest to reach. Very nice place. There are a lot of bugs and not sure if they can do something about it.
I recommend this hotel especially with people want to have night activities “very near to batong busy streets”.
